  1. What Information Do We Collect?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services; when you participate in activities on the website; or when you contact us by email, or through our contact form.

Personal Information Provided by You 

We collect names; email addresses; contact or authentication data; contact preferences; debit/credit card numbers; billing addresses; mailing addresses; job titles; usernames; passwords; phone numbers; and other similar information. 

Payment Data 

We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information. 

Information Automatically Collected 

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information), but it may include device and usage information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our website, and other technical information. This information is primarily necessary to maintain the security and operation of our website and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. 

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. The information we collect includes:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process—If you choose to link your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Google or Facebook account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon process for the performance of the contract. 
  • To post testimonials—We post testimonials on our website that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, please contact us at [email protected] and be sure to include your name, testimonial location, and contact information. 
  • To request feedback—We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our website. 
  • To enable user-to-user communications—We may use your information to enable user-to-user communications.

  1. 7. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own. 

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our website from outside United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see “Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?” section above), in United States, and other countries. 

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable law. 

European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses: 

We have implemented measures to protect your personal information, including by using the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies and between us and our third-party providers. These clauses require all recipients to protect all personal information that they process originating from the EEA in accordance with European data protection laws and regulations. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third-party service providers and partners, and further details can be provided upon request. 

  1. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than 2 years. 

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice. 

  1. Do California Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the website, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the website.   • Category 1—Professional or employment-related information, such as business contact details in order to provide you our services at a business level; job title, as well as work history; and professional qualifications if you apply for a job with us 
  • Category K—Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about, for example, an individual’s preferences and characteristics

Your Rights with Respect To Your Personal Data 

Right To Request Deletion of The Data—Request to Delete 

You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities. 

Right To Be Informed—Request to Know 

Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know:

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights 

We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights. 

Verification Process 

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine whether you are the same person with whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with the information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g., phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate. 

We will only use the personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. If, however, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you. 

Other Privacy Rights

  • You may request correction of your personal data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant or ask to restrict the processing of the data. 
  • You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA. 
  • You may request to opt-out from future selling of your personal information to third parties. Upon receiving a request to opt-out, we will act upon the request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than 15 days from the date of the request submission.
